We are looking for Production Manager for a Foundry Industry

Location: IMT- Faridabad, Haryana.
Minimum Experience 15 Years or more

QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE
* Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgy
* Thorough Knowledge of Lost Wax Process and Sand Casting(Green Sand Moulding, Manual Pouring)
* Thorough Knowledge of Alloy Making & Charge Calculations
* Basic Knowledge of Tooling
* Adequate Knowledge of Maintaining and Handling SpectroMeter
* Induction Furnace Knowledge
* Allied Subject and Micro Structure Knowledge would be an added advantage

RESPONSIBILITY DELIVERABLES
1. Production Planning based on Order Priority
2. Raw Material & Tooling Checking and Sampling
3. Daily Monitoring of Production
4. Quality Control

TASK & ACTIVITIES
Production Plan Based on Order Priority
-  Create an effective production plan for both Sand Casting & Lost Wax every month
-  Planning the Raw Material for the production planned for the month

Raw Material & Tooling Checking and Sampling
- Checking of Raw Materials and sampling the same to ascertain optimum RM quality
- Checking new  toolings for accuracy and effectiveness

Daily Production Monitoring
- Guiding staff to maintain clarity with regards to daily activities
- Timely and Efficient Daily Production
- Providing Solutions and combatting any breakdowns happening during Production
- Ensuring all deadlines are efficiently met
- Ensuring monthly production goals are attained.
- Engaging and managing issues faced by the production staff/workers
- Proper storage and accounting of the moulds and castings & raw material

 Quality Review
- Establishing Quality check parameters at every level of production and ensuring the parameters are met with.
- Making sure the product has passed the quality test before handing it over for QC and Dispatch.
